You will create more interest in your blog and ultimately get shared more widely on social media.

Not only will readers on your blog want to read your other posts but when the post is shared on social media and in search engines catchy blog headlines will have new readers clicking through to your blog as well.

7 Ways To Create More Interest In Your Blog Headlines

1. Personalize your blog title:

Using words such as ‘you’ and ‘your’ will make the reader feel as though you are talking to them directly or you can use other group words like ‘yoga followers’, ‘new moms’, ‘grandparents’, ‘gardeners’, or ‘singles’, all of which will attract the interest of readers who have an interest in or can be grouped together

2. Create urgency:

By adding a date or an end time of some sort will get the reader to follow through sooner rather than get back in touch later when they may forget altogether

3. Add a number:

If you are going to write about 9 helpful tips for the reader then say 9 in the header so that it impresses them enough to click through and read with the hope of learning some new tips

4. Create excitement:

Inspire your reader by using words that they can relate to in their own lifestyle such as ‘ultimately’, ‘urgently’, ‘easy’, ‘budget’, ‘healthy’, ‘free’, ‘new’, ‘bonus’, ‘red’, and so on and so on (there is an endless number of words you can use to create excitement)…..words such as these will trigger their emotions

5. Ask a question:

‘Have you ever tried…’, ‘Did you….’, ‘When was the last time….’  These types of headlines get the readers thinking and then they want to read about why you asked that question in the headline

6. Use keywords:

Make sure that you use a keyword in the heading so that it catches the attention of your ideal client

7. Use positive benefit words:

‘How you will …….. after 6 weeks’, ‘When you use……….. you will be able to……’, ‘In three months you will feel………..’, ‘Your confidence will get a boost when you……’  Using benefit related headings are very popular as readers want to feel that they will get something for their time
